Who's On Call
Our Physician on-call system creates, displays, and manages
changes to on-call schedules of a hospital’s departments. The system
is scalable, and can be used for all departments and by all the personnel
including non-physicians. Business Rules of the system protects it from
wrong assignment of calls. It enables generation and dispersal of up-to-the-minute
and accurate on-call information via the Intranet and Internet. The system
caters to different sized time periods for on-call per Service and has
an easy-to-use date and time picker. Users are also allowed the flexibility
to “cover” each others’ calls making it easier to change
and update the on-call sheet interactively.
